Recommended Reading

Sorry, faithful readers (of which there are currently very few). I have not posted in a while, but I was distracted by several airplanes and fluffy blue bathroom slippers.

This week, I recommend Player Piano, by Kurt Vonnegut. Good book, imaginative author, and machines taking over the economic sector - who could ask for more? Well, it is missing the fluffy blue slippers, but whatever. The Shah makes it all worth it - he cannot grasp the concept of citizen and refers to all non-government people as takaru, meaning slave.

Yep. We're all slaves. Yell it to the world: I'm a slave, and I don't give a damn!

Because obviously, you don't. Otherwise, you wouldn't need to be reading this.
